The MR Direct TruGranite sink comes in many different shades, all of which have the same exciting features; not the least of which is its TruGranite composition. A balance of 80% quartz and 20% acrylic, makes for a very dense, nearly impervious substance with a smooth non-porous finish that provides the sink with anti-bacterial properties. It is nearly impossible to scratch or stain because of its density, and it can withstand extreme temperatures - a dropped knife will not scratch, acidic foods will not stain, and hot pots will not burn the surface. No sound-dampening pads are required because TruGranite is inherently quiet. This sink model is designed for mounting over the countertop. It has a wide-rimmed perimeter, and a ledge along the back with scored faucet and accessory holes. It has two equally-sized basins, which furnish plenty of room for dividing any size chore. With an overall measurement of 33' x 22' x 9 1/2', it will require a minimum-width cabinet of 33'. It is cUPC certified.
